This update contains a lot of little additions from customer requests as well as several improvements to existing features. Key additions include the QR code features, and Turn 14 Integration.

Notable Features
- Turn 14 Integration
- You can now connect directly to Turn 14 for real time pricing, inventory, and order submission, as well as tracking information.
- Connection involves setting up the API between Turn 14 and MSA
- Once connected, any parts with part numbers that match a Turn 14 part number, will automatically show you the price you pay for it on the wholesale price field.
- You can add parts as need to order, and now you can add them directly to a Purchase order for Turn 14 which will give you the same functionality as you would see on Turns site.
- Select the different shipping options and submit orders. once they have tracking information, that information automatically propogates to your PO and the part on the job.
- QR Code Labels
- Each job now has a QR code button at the top of the job view. click this, will give you the option to print to a 4x2 or 4x6 label printer.
- Printed QR codes show you the job information and the QR code, which you can scan with a phone camera at any time and it directs you straight into the job. QR code reader on a PC does the same.
- Enable auto job movement as a shop feature and QR code readers on each zone will appear, and using those readers will automatically move a job from one zone to another.
- Parts also have a QR code, and that QR code can be used for inventory tracking. scanning the bar code brings you to the part information.
- Appointment Reminder Improvements
- Made it so that you can send appointment reminders even after the date it is scheduled for
- If you reschedule a job with a pending reminder, it will primpt you to change it to a new scheduled reminder date.
- Slightly more customizable message, allowing you to exclude the time of the appointment in the case where you want the car dropped off on a day, rather then a specific time.
- Added a job visualization icon for appointments. if you hover over the icon it will tell you when the reminder is scheduled for.
- Added a default job folder list to the shop settings
in the shop settings page there is now a table for you to make job folders for use inside of jobs. you can optionally select them to appear in every job you create. - Added a Parts and Task "duplicate" option from the shop task/part tables
Right click on any part and select make a copy, and it will create a duplicate version of the part which you can make small changes to and have a unique part. - Added a "Move Timer" feature to every task timer.
Click the Arrow button beside any task and you can change the task, job, or even user the timer is on. this allows you to make corrections without deleting and remaking timers. - Live Pricing on all Job parts and Shop Parts
If you are connected to vendors, and that part has a vendor its connected to, any time you view it, it will show you the current wholesale price and your current price. Clicking it will update your prices. - Tasks can now have a Default Tech assigned to the specific task.
Anytime you add this task with a default technician, it will be assigned to that person rather then the person creating the task. it can always be changed again, but it allows for better specialization.
UI Improvements
- Loosened the restrictions on Vendor creation to allow vendor with only Phone, Email or a website, instead of a Phone AND and email.
- Added the ability to see the part description on a PO by hovering over the part name. also, clicking the ? mark button pops up the shop part.
- Made the slider bars slightly wider so they are easier to grab.
- Added a reset password button on the edit user screen. this will send the email directly from the edit user page as a manager helping a tech.
- Added a user setting that allows you to automatically select a part in the job part screen by typing the name until it is a single unique part.
- Added the ability to make any URLs into actual hyperlinks in the messaging system.
- Added a user and date stamp to manual adjustments to parts inventory levels.
- Added the ability to make URLs into hyperlinks in task and part comments and descriptions.
- Added the vendor field to selectable columns for the shop parts table.
- When deleting a job with payments on it, we now added a prompt that asks to delete payments first.
- If you are a MSA Vendor, youll now get a text message notification when another shop asks to connect to you.
- Added a scroll bar to the event log for the case where there are a lot of event and it is to long to fit on a sinlge view.
- Added a thinking wheel when sending emails the PDFs attached because it can sometimes take a little time to create the PDF before sending.
Bug Fixes
- Merge tool had a bug where if you typed something into the fields instead of selecting one of the two choices it gave an error
- The "require comments for stopping a task timer had a bug where if you went straight to another task and started the timer, it would switch tasks without prompting for a comment.
- Making a vendor inactive checkbox wasnt working, and is now fixed.
- There was a bug with adding some inventory tracked parts to an estimate causing it toget added to the need to order page even though they werent on an active job yet.
- Fixed a bug with the vendor names not populating the need to order page correctly for vendors with incomplete information.
- Fixed a bug withthe notes on photos where if you click into the text field, it always cleared the text, even if it was clicking on existing text to make a correction.
- The need to order page had an issue on smaller screens where the "make PO" and "order" buttons were off the screen and not visible to click.
- Fixed a bug with the job header bar wrapping to a second line overlapping items on smaller screens.
- Fixed a bug that caused the Chat screen to go out of focus after 30 seconds when on the dashboard screen.
- When sending an email to only a CC address, the email wasnt sending.
- The jobs page was having centering issues on slightly smaller screen sizes that cause the zones page to bounce, and not stay anchored to the left.
Additional Improvements
- Added a global announcement function for Us to message all managers with important system information such as planned outages, updates, and announcements.
- Added a shop setting to turn off customers abilities to view jobs by default (this will restrict customers from making remote authorizations and payments as well)
