Updates 8/11/2026

This update centers on three major areas: the MOTOR integration add-on for VIN decoding, labor guides, OEM part number data, and repair manuals; improvements to the Shop Profitability guide; and Assemblies, which brings in-house manufacturing to jobs and parts. Alongside those, there are updates to the Job digital inspection system, and a wide range of UI improvements, bug fixes, and smaller enhancements across jobs, purchase orders, and reporting.

- Shop Profitability Guide
- Added subcontract hours to the guide
- Re-organized the data fields, so employee hours, pay, efficiency, and productivity are all set on the same page
- modified the hourly rate bar graph to better represent the costs vs revenue
- working to unify the three main report such that they share the same targets and results. Profitability guide targets for gross profit/hr are displayed on the job profitability report. tech productivity targets from the guide are displayed on the employee service report.
- numerous bug fixes, related to the recommendations and how things are saved.
- Added the total reveneue targets for labor to the hourly rate tab to compare against potential labor revenue
- Fixed a bug where fixed price tasks with no time tracked on them weren't included in the labor totals.
- Split out the parts for the hourly rate calculation to make it more obvious the contribution of the shops labor rate.
- Added a Previous week and previous month to the summary tab.
- MOTOR Integration for Labor Guides, VIN Decoding and OEM parts information
- Improvements to the vehicle selection for YMME. - easier to follow and if a vehicle wasnt created with MOTOR IDs, it will prompt for you to match the vehicle to a MOTOR IDed vehicle.
- OEM part numbers now available when searching for any MOTOR labor times , it will display the OEM part numbers related to the service.
- OEM part number search available in the advanced search function from the part modal. select the OEM Parts (MOTOR) from the source selector, then use either a VIN, or YMME search to lookup whatever part numbers you want.
- Added a Truespeed button to the left hand navigation bar if you are subscribed to MOTOR. The button needs to be added from the bar customizer.
- removed the vehicle lookup requirement for using the Truespeed button on a job.
- Main QR code scanner can scan VIN numbers and automatically lets you decide what to do i with it (make a new job, vehicle history, customer history)
- Reworked the subscription tab in the shop settings to make it easier to add MOTOR to your Plan.

- Assemblies for manufacturing
- Due to the complexity of building the assemblies, we added a wizard that steps you through building the assembly piece by piece and it automatically ties it all together at the end.
- Fixed a bug where sub tasks within an assembly were all treated like hourly tasks instead of using the fixed of book times assigned to them. important for subcontract steps.
- Fixed a bug where assembled parts that were added to jobs created from Shopify orders weren't getting flagged as need to assemble automatically when the quantity was below the reorder point.
- Added a toggle to the parts page to filter all the parts by assembled parts only.
- Job/Vehicle Inspection Form (DVI)
- We now allow you to add multiple inspection forms to a single job
- made it more obvious if you needed a file/picture for the inspection item.
- Point of Sale/Counter Sale
- aadded a point of sale system, works and acts like a cash register for quick sales.
- add the POS button to your customizable left hand navigation bar to access it.
- quick sale allows you to make a sale without even selecting a customer.
- allows you to scan or manually enter a part, and check out without any extra steps.
- can export to quickbooks, email or print the reciept.
UI Improvements
- Added the "select all" to the to-do page for all users, so they can see all the to-dos.
- Added a filter to the zones page for "vehicle not on site"
- Made the part description visible on POs when you hover over them.
- Printed work orders we removed the decimal place from the odometer
- added the units to the odometer on the printed work orders
- On the Job Toolbar - we added color to the tool buttons to indicate when they are active/need attention
- Made all the vehicle information fields visible (when present) on the job vehicle header section
- Made the green check box on the pricing matrix page give a strong warning that it will update all the shop parts with the new matrix settings if you proceed.
- Task history report now has the job name and a link to go to the job
- Made the legal wavier a rich text field - so it follows any formatting you might have.
- Improved the warning for subscription issues (usually card declined), so that you can simply click it and it brings you where to fix it.
- Added a notes field to payments
- Changed the date on a printed work order to be the completion date if the job was completed, instead of using todays day regardless of when the job was finished.
- Added a print to the payments report.
- Added a column to the recieved parts list for the PO number/link
- Export report - added a column for invoice exports to display the customer name and job.
- If the shop isn't connected to 360 payments, we now hide the payment button on the customer portal for jobs of theirs.
- Made the printed and PDF work orders for customers have heavier lines to show subsections/subtotals more obvious.
- Made the disable texting button much harder - gives a strong warning you'll loose the number of you continue.
- Moved the B2B dealers to simply be shop customers with the Dealer section in the customer modal opened. You can approve, decline, and set discounts in that area.
- Turn14 integration - we now display the jobber, MSRP, and MAP pricing on the vendor parts table.
- Added an Invoice number to tasks with subcontract as the pricing type.
- Made it so shop part pictures are visible on the job part.
- Made it so the job part description is what's on the PO for job parts marked as need to order.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where the grouped subtasks on the job details page did not have the description expanded with the setting was turned on.
- There was a bug with the need to order page when draft POs were at the top, it would squish the scrollable part of the page so it wasnt viewable.
- Fixed a bug where if a part was marked a tracking inventory, then inventory tracking was later turned off, it would still try to use the reorder point set to mark itself as need to order when below the unused reorder point.
- Removed the tax amount shown on each line item of a work order view, a bug from adding the "include tax in the part price" shop setting
- Fixed the request VOIP number button
- Fixed a bug where the search box on the shop parts page wasnt searching vendors
- Employee schedule was displaying deleted entries.
- Selecting Turn14 parts from the vendor offerings was clearing any existing bar codes.
- Default tasks that were set to be added to every job werent adding the checklists to the jobs they were added to.
- Fixed a bug where attaching a photo to a message in the chat from the csutomer view, you would get a warning that the message wont send if its more then 5mb, but it covered the ok button so you couldnt close it.
- Fixed a bug where the customers when to download a picture it would get then an invalid token error.
- Fixed a bug where a task using techicians hourly rate was showing the task rate as 0 on the printed work order (not mirroring how the work order page viewed).
- Reverted a change with Turn14 parts where we were automatically removing the three letter prefix they append to parts, so that it reflected the real part number. this however made the lookup not work all the time, especially when there were two different parts from different manufacturers with the same part number.
- Fixed a bug where added a turn14 part to your list was setting the turn14 inventory as your own.
- fixed a bug where adding a comma to the odometer field saved it as 0.
- Fixed a bug where notes on pictures were saving correct when a technician made them .
Additional Improvements
- Job Profitability report includes more fields, including billable hours total, labor revenue $, labor profit $, and many others.
- main header QR code scanner now recognizes part QR codes as well as job QR codes. Additionally it works with VIN numbers if you are MOTOR enabled, and part bar codes if they have them.
- Added a shop setting for default units for odometer on jobs
- Added the ability to scan bar codes from the ordered page to mark parts as recieved (assuming they have a bar code in the system)
- Added a delete option to Tags
- Locked down the quantity for book time tasks to only be qty 1.
- If a job as an appoint reminder scheduled, and you reschedule the job, it will now prompt you to reschedule the reminder, remove it, or keep it the same.
- Added the ability to push a customer from MSA to QB desktop without having to export a job.
- The job cards on the jobs page are customizable with the gear tab. you can change if different dates, notification icons, or title fields are displayed.
- Part sales report we added a column to for the job it was on and the date the part was added.
- Added an import vendor list button
- Added an Export vendor list button
- Added the Michigan Facility number to the regulatory fields in the shop settings. this gets added to the bottom of printed invoices for customers if you are in Michigan.
- Added a field for technician licenses, and if you are in Michigan, it will automatically add the license to the bottom of printed work orders for compliance.
- The parts export now exports the vendor correctly again, and now exports tags and their categories as well.
