Faircloth Composites is a USA-based manufacturer of custom carbon fiber aerodynamic and body components for racecars, operating out of Ellington, Connecticut. The company specializes in splitters, wings, diffusers, fenders, hoods, and full body panels — parts built for cars that actually see track time rather than show duty.

The business started as a cost-saving experiment. The founder, already doing his own mechanical work and fabrication, balked at the price of the carbon parts he wanted for his own racecar and taught himself to build molds instead, working out of a 17-by-11-foot framed room in his basement. After a friend walked off with a splitter he had made and insisted on paying for it, it became clear there was a market. He built the mold catalog one piece at a time while working full time, went official as an LLC in 2019, and moved to full-time composites in January 2022 — beating his own one, three, and five year targets by two years.

Faircloth Composites parts have run on multiple track-record-setting cars, with records set at several tracks in the Northeast. The company has continued to expand since going full time, hiring staff and acquiring established molds. Their stated focus is on high-quality carbon rather than cosmetic imitation, and they publish educational material on identifying genuine carbon fiber and on clear coat options.
