Heads up if you export invoices from MSA into QuickBooks Online — QuickBooks recently added a setting that automatically emails your customers when an invoice gets imported. If you don't want QBO firing off emails to your customers behind your back, here's how to shut it off. In QuickBooks, click Settings in the top right, then go to Account and Settings, then Sales. Look for the section called Invoice payments and find the setting labeled "Automatically send imported invoices." Switch that off and save. One thing to know: this is a newer QuickBooks setting, and not everyone has it yet — QBO rolls out features to a small batch of accounts at a time, so you may not even see it in your settings. If it's not there, you're fine for now. But if it is, that's the toggle that fixes it.
