Parts Distributor Inventory Software
When parts are the product, your inventory count is your business. A stale price or a wrong quantity costs you the sale.
Distribution runs on a different rhythm than repair. There's no vehicle on a lift and no labor to bill — there's a catalog, a stock count, and orders arriving from a website, a dealer, or a phone call. All of it has to be picked, tracked, and shipped against numbers you can actually trust. MSA runs that side of the business with the same tools that run a build floor.
Orders land as work, wherever they come from
Sync your Shopify store to MSA and every order drops onto the floor as a new job in the zone you choose — nobody re-keying orders, nothing missed overnight. Your catalog and stock counts stay aligned across both channels, so the work is queued and ready before you open, and it flows through the same board as everything else you're running.
Sell to other shops on the MSA B2B network
Your website isn't your only channel. Fill in your vendor profile, then choose exactly which parts you want to list for other shops to find on the MSA parts network.
- Shops request a connection to you — you approve or reject each one.
- Set the discount you want to give each dealer individually.
- Their purchase orders arrive as jobs on your floor, with the parts already attached.
Dealer relationships stop being a pile of emails and become one more queue you already know how to run.
Inventory that stays honest on its own
Turn on inventory tracking for the parts you stock, set your quantity on hand, and let MSA manage it from there. Stock draws down automatically as parts go onto orders, and every adjustment is written to a change log — so when a count looks wrong, you can see exactly what happened and when, instead of guessing.
Restock before you run out
The Need to Order page shows you what's short across every open order, so restocking is a decision rather than a scramble. Turn that list into a purchase order in a couple of clicks, send it to your supplier by email or straight through the network, and receive it back into inventory when it lands — including partial shipments, which is what usually shows up.
Track what you kit and what you build
If you assemble kits or build products from components, assemblies track inventory on both the finished part and every sub-component that goes into it. When an order comes in, MSA checks stock on the finished item — if it's on the shelf it ships, and if it isn't, the build gets added to the job with the components already accounted for.
Move orders across the floor with a scanner
Tag each order with a QR code and set up zones for the stages of fulfillment — picked, packed, shipped. A scan at each station moves the order to the next zone, so you get a live view of what's going out today without anyone updating a status by hand.
Get paid and keep the books clean
Take payment with integrated 360 Payments — in person, over the phone, or with a text-to-pay or email-to-pay link for a customer you'll never meet. Then export the finished invoice to QuickBooks, Online or Desktop, with everything mapped correctly.
Distribution isn't repair work with a parts tab bolted on. Order sync, a built-in B2B sales channel, self-managing inventory, and scanner-driven fulfillment are here because moving product is its own business — and it deserves software that treats it like one.
